Daytona Beach, Florida (December 20th, 2013) – Each year, the ARCA Racing Series Presented by Menards heads south to the Mecca of Stock Car Racing, Daytona International Speedway. Teams from all over the Nation travel to this destination in hopes of preparing for the season opener, the Lucas Oil 200 presented by MAVTV American Real. The inaugural test plays host to over 80 drivers from all parts of the world, shaping their skills to compete in the largest ARCA Racing Series event of the season.
The inaugural test would be the first for Bassett, Virginia native Josh Reeves, who tested for C2M (Carter 2 Motorsports) previously at Talladega Super-Speedway. “I’ve worked my entire life for a moment to showcase my skills. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I am beyond grateful that Roger and Dana have given me that opportunity” Stated Reeves, who piloted the No. 40 C2M Dodge Charger. He added, “I hope this is a sign of many more opportunities to come. I’ve definitely worked hard, preparing for any chance thrown at me, so I’ll be ready when the time comes.”
Pending sponsorship, Reeves plans on competing in the Lucas Oil 200 at Daytona International Speedway this February in the No. 40 C2M Dodge. It will be his first start in the ARCA Racing Series Presented by Menards. For information on how you can watch this event, please check with your local providers.
